Orient-Express buys hotel in Peru for $7 million

Hotel owner and manager Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. said Tuesday that it purchased a hotel in Peru from Industrias Turistica Vagamundos SAC for $7 million.
The acquisition was made by Orient-Express Hotels’ joint venture company, Peru OEH SA, which used cash reserves and $2.5 million of long-term debt for the purchase.

Bancaja says NH bank shareholders form pact

Spanish savings banks holding a total of 20.7 percent of hotel chain NH Hoteles (NHH.MC) have formed a shareholders pact and combined their individual stakes, one of them — Bancaja — said on Monday.
The banks involved are Caja Madrid with a 10 percent stake, Ibercaja with 5.041 percent and Bancaja with 5.66 percent.
